What is TwitChicks?
Twitter has seen explosive growth in a very short amount of time. What was once a rather small community of technology geeks is rapidly becoming mainstream.
We believe that Twitter is going to become a part of our everyday lives.
But this also presents a little bit of a problem. With politicians, brands, celebrities, and web superstars jumping on the Twitter bandwagon, some of the most influential and important voices of our community are getting harder and harder to find. We believe that the women who use Twitter are too exceptional to get lost in the crowd. So we’ve created a place to ensure that everyone can see the amazing work that women are doing with one of the most important communication tools to emerge in our lifetime, Twitter.
For now, TwitChicks is a very simple tool that lists the women on Twitter. We’ve worked to gather as many women onto our master list as possible, but if you are a female Twitter user, please add yourself to any of the lists if you aren’t already there. There are also TwitChicks Groups that allows our users to find others in their areas of interest:
